The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is pleased and honoured to accept a $15,000 grant from the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen Annual Grant Program which included funds from the City of Penticton Municipal Grants Fund. We are so grateful for the support of our programs that provide assistance to residents of Penticton.

For over thirty years, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul has delivered weekly food hampers to individuals and families in need throughout our community. On average, we visit twenty-five households each week, providing a variety of fresh and non-perishable food items.
Each Christmas our outreach expands significantly as we prepare and deliver more than 350 festive hampers filled with food and holiday cheer on the Saturday before Christmas Day. Our volunteer base swells to include families, youth groups, community groups, and individuals eager to share in the spirit of giving.
In recent months, we have seen a growing number of requests for assistance—both from our regular clients and new families reaching out for the first time. In addition to food support, we are now receiving more appeals for help with rent and utility bills.
These funds will help us meet the rising demand for food hampers and financial assistance within our community. Thank you for your support.
